Right now the current Challenger 392 is the most comfortable riding car among the Mustang and Camaro. When they eliminate this car and body style the ride will probably no longer make it a luxury muscle car.:Frustrated::disgust:

For 2013 to the END they should add a blower to the 392 in its current if not stronger engine.:ryu-cvs-hadoken-a:

Supposedly, both the Barracuda and Challenger SRTs will get the new 6.2 supercharged engine and will ride on a much smaller and lighter chassis than the present Challenger.

If history is any guide, just expect minor tweaks to the Challenger until 2014.

Because it will be on a much smaller chassis does that mean it will not be as comfortable riding as the current Challenger with the 116 inch wheelbase?
Also it sounds like they want the new Challenger and Barracuda to compete with the Mustang. Which makes me wonder what will the cost of these new models be with a 6.2 supercharged engine?

We'll have to wait and see how comforatable the new cars will be. In order to compete with Ford and Chevy, Dodge had to improve the power-to-weight ratio.

I suspect that the new SRTs will sell for at least the price of the current ones (i.e., around $50K).

Only reason I ask is that I want my next performance car to have more comfort. That is the priority emphasis #1 to me now because we have such bad roads and in the Mustang with that live rear end and smaller wheel base suspension will only = a bumpier ride which I want to get away from i.e. Boss 302 -track car? GT-500.
I thought 2015 is the last year of Challenger?
