toggle bolts through the lower grille will work and you it wont even touch the paint.

Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if the toggle bolt method would work on the newer Challengers with the split grill.

I use the Removable Stow and Show I got through Merrick Motorsports, but I haven't put it on this year. I worked with 3 other guys who own Challengers and none of them have a front plate and never have been stopped over it. My front plate has been in my trunk since last winter, and I drive by cops all the time. In my area they don't seen to care, but might add it on if you get pulled over for speeding.

In some jurisdictions it's an additional fine for having it on the dash (considered a safety hazard being loose in the passenger compartment).

In my area a front plate was required until July last year. Until then almost all the local suburbs have pulled over later model vehicles for not having a front plate. Two of them have officers walking around a few of the car cruises warning owners that they needed a front plate. Older 60-70's cars weren't targeted based just on a plate violation. Now it doesn't matter but a bunch of us are still running a front plate since there are holes drilled into the front facia.
