So, I am cut from a different cloth than most - I am building my 2021 Challenger R/T into a grip car and not a 1/8 or 1/4 mile car. I grew up near a canyon road that I built and drove Euro Trash on until I got into Knee Dragging 1 Liter bikes that still ride. While I love raw power, that is not the focus of my build. I wanted the R/T because it is actually a great base for my build. I am not flashy - I like sleepers - so my goal is to keep my R/T as close to stock looking as possible. I have started with my Stage I build - focus on handling. Curious which 'Euro Trash' specifically your experiences were behind the wheel of? At half the investment price my 335's out perform my supercharged R/T by leaps and bounds on any circuit other than a straight line (and just as fast in 1/8 or 1/4 mile performance). Maintenance can be very challenging however and at times a full time job requiring an arsenal of tools and not economically practical for those dependent on professional services.
So, the Euro-Trash I speak of, from the 80's - I am old - was the Porshe 914, FIAT X/19, and the VW Corrado - while all great cars for canyon carving the horsepower was still lacking for any of the straight lines. So when I say Euro-Trash, I mean that it wasn't BMW, Mercedes, or cars that have that type of name recognition.

For the CAI, I'm kinda partial to the factory T/A one. It makes that great looking hood scoop functional. And if you go that route, wrap all of the pieces in heat insulation. Since you had a 70 AAR, it should be a nice flashback.
