    A buddy of mine just ran his scat at a track in Ohio. Out of 4 runs, he had 1 under 13 seconds at 12.84.

    Interesting and somewhat surprising, but often the case that the results unfold below expectations. Wouldn't have thought those results possible with 485 hp even in a 4k lb car. Traction issue primarily?

    Wasn't there. Might have been poor conditions, bad reaction time, etc.

    The ET clock isn't supposed to start until the car moves so reaction shouldn't affect time. Is his an auto trans?

    Yeah. He let another friend of mine take one run. He's got a T/A manual but didn't have his car there. I've never been to a track, and it looks like I'll have to wait until next year to get an official 1/4 mile time because the only track within 125 miles is only doing 1/8 mile runs because something is broke. I thought once the light hit green the timer started, and I think my friend thought that as well. He said he could have had better times if his reaction time was better, but you're saying his time was actually his time?
