Getting ready to do some spring cleaning on the 10 and 71 Challengers. Both have water spots on the glass that I cannot figure out how to remove. I had thought maybe a product like lime-away, and then thought better not. Can anyone suggest something that works well? Thanks.

I heard that if you go to an auto store, there is a glass cleaner that works pretty well. Don't know the name of it.

    Invisible Glass works pretty good.

But, try either vinegar, or a watered down (50/50) solution of ammonia. Then use a newspaper to wipe and dry them.

Be careful of the newspaper on the paint, once it is wet the ink will come off on the paint. It won't stain it, but you will have to clean it...

I use Invisible Glass and it works well...just not on water spots. Will look at the other 2 ideas and see how they work. Thanks.

Newspaper prevents streaking, and doesn't leave lint and tiny fibers behind...

    Try it, you'll like it!

Have you tried using a clay bar on the window?

Problem solved! Either I missed it the first time, or they were out of stock, but on my last trip to autozone I picked up some Mothers California Gold water spot remover. I tried about an 8" square area on the back window and did 2 applications. This stuff really works well. No more water spots and the glass is really smooth now.

I have used regular clear coat polish on them in the past with a buffer when waxing the rest of the vehicle, I don't know if it is really recommended or not but I had good results...
