It was in the mid forty’s on the way to work today. Sad that I will need to put my car in storage soon, but my supercharged SXT Plus and CAI are going to make the most of this cool weather while we can.

Cool weather definitely increases the Hemi's power. The only down side is that tires lose some of their grip on cold road surfaces.

My tires seemed to grip ok, but in 4 days of cold weather I had one drop from 32 to 27lbs of pressure and the other 3 dropped a bit too.

For every 10 F degrees of temperature drop, tires will decrease 1-2 psi.

You can get just as much performance with a AEM High Flow Air filter then the expense of a CAI and dont have to Oil the Filter.
Truthfully the factory Systems provide ample for the HP and on 15 and up go to the Hell Cat setup with Inlet Tube.
Then go to a AEM Filter.

Yes Stingray you can notice the difference in the cold(see dense)air
    Quote,

The temperature can fluctuate over 20 degrees throughout the day. Cooler temperatures generally mean higher air density while warmer temperatures mean lower air density. From just that change, engine fuel systems can need up to a 4% adjustment. Horsepower can drop more than 4% from that amount of temperature increase and get restored from that amount of temperature drop.

So if you have two identical Challengers with same engine one with the shaker option the other with the HC hood ( 2 extractors and one center intake) the shaker option will put that car in the lead in 0-60 or top end speed on a very cold day?
