I would be very careful when using any polish on windows. If you don't remove it correctly you can make some really bad glare spots... enough to cause you visibility issues in direct sun light.

Yeah, I had to make sure to get it all off, and especially not allow if to dry at all. I personally would use the Mothers stuff recommended as it is made specifically for the job. I only tried it because I was already polishing the rest of the truck and didn't feel like going back to the store....lol

I love the Rain-X windshield washer fluid.

I used to use Rain-x on the windows, but when I lived in Florida I stopped using it because of the water spots...

I had a hot and cold frostless faucet put in my garage. The lines are hooked up to the softned water supply. Pretty much eliminates water spots on the glass.

Keep you car very wet when you wash. and dry the windows right after doing the roof, try to stay in the shade - that will help too. For window cleaning between washes I have a squirt bottle of windshield washer fluid.

Scott disposable shop towels don't leave lint and I follow up wiping with a microfiber towel to dry or second pass cleaning and drying the windows.

On the rare occasion that I get a spot now I have another squirt bottle of mixed vinegar and water.

Use invisible glass on the inside of the windows.

Yes, I use rain-x and it is good stuff. Assuming your windows are clean, you can drive in the rain with a rain-x treated windshield and not even have to use your wipers (depending on speed), the rain just rolls off the windshield with the wind.
