SO I have a Scat Pack Widebody (dang, I have been doing Scatpack Wide Body) - anyway...

    The MTX-23N states
    Widebody Competition Suspension
    Adaptive Damping Suspension

Wondering what is different than a Scat Pack Adaptive Damping Suspension (none Widebody)

I'm not 100% sure about this but do not recall a non-widebody scat pack having an adaptive susp accept for the 1320 challenger!

All of the SRT 392's have the Adaptive Suspension. @SRT-Tom can chime in to let us know if the SRT8 cars have that suspension as well.

Prior to this being an option on the R/T Scat Pack in 2019 ... the R/T Scat Pack was pretty much "just" an R/T with a 392ci HEMI instead of a 345ci HEMI. In fact ... the absence of the Adaptive Suspension on the Scat Pack was/is one of the reasons that a Scat Pack wasn't/isn't a SRT. But once the SRT 392 was discontinued after 2018, Dodge began offering the formerly SRT-only suspension as an option on R/T Scat Packs. And automatically included it on R/T Scat Pack Wide Body cars.

The R/T Scat Pack Widebody has the best handling suspension of the Challengers...was told this

"The ADS on the widebody is the same system as on the standard Scat Pack. However, the SPWB does have a unique suspension configuration tuned by SRT specifically for the SPWB versions of both the Challenger and Charger, which is unique to this trim and outperforms all other trims for handling (including the HCWB and Super Stock).

The "Widebody Competition Suspension" includes stiffer front springs and larger front and rear sway bars than skinny Scat Packs and HC/HCWB models. In addition to the wider tires, this produces a setup that corners like it's on rails as opposed to always feeling like they're trying to get away from you. The spring rates and sway bars are what turn the SPWB into a 4500 lb car that drives and corners like a 3500 lb car.

This is also the reason the SPWB outperforms narrow body Hellcats in road course/concourse racing. You can come out of curves hotter and spend more time at WOT than a HC can because of the dramatically improved traction, even though the HC has 200 HP on the 392."

Does the Adaptive Dampening Suspension system also contribute to a comfortable ride?

What is the life expectancy of adaptive suspension?
