About 150 cars total at the show. I took my R/T accompanied by two friends who both have 1940 Fords (the moonshine favorites). I spotted a cool photo on our way to the show early in the morning. You can see the fog hanging low in the mountains off in the distance (photo number 1). The event was 1 hour away and I put 97 miles on the odometer leaving the car in 'sport mode' the entire distance. Certainly not 'level' driving going through the mountain passes but the mileage was still a very good 21.8 mpg. A few 'spirited' runs were included but the Fords could not keep up. It was a veteran's show which was well attended. I left before the awards ceremony so I am unable to report if any Mopars won anything. Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing, great photos. I'm starting to really like the Darts and Scamps, just something about them with a good set of wheels and tires. Car show season is shut down around by me except for a few guys driving them on a nice day for the next week or two. Cars are getting put away and snow blowers are getting checked out and started up.
Looks like a great time. What a beautiful day. That's a great shot of your Challenger with the two Fords. We're still dealing with Nor'easter conditions here in Jacksonville. I think the high yesterday was 48. Supposed to get to the high 50s or low 60s today. Might even see the sun again later.
