Radford Racing School, (formerly known as Bondurant High Performance Driving School), located in Chandler, Arizona announced, on Nov. 2, 2021, that it has signed an agreement with Dodge//SRT that extends the automaker’s sponsorship and names Radford as the Official High-Performance Driving School of Dodge//SRT. The extended agreement includes a fleet of more than 85 Dodge//SRT vehicles at the school, including the Challenger SRT Hellcat, Charger Hellcat, and Durango SRT Hellcat. Joint marketing opportunities and Dodge//SRT experiences at select racetracks across the country are also part of the sponsorship. With the purchase of a new Dodge//SRT vehicle, owners receive a day at Radford Racing School that includes professional driver training "the Dodge SRT Experience course" to learn how to optimize their experience behind the wheel. “Our sponsorship extension with Radford Racing School builds on Dodge’s longstanding performance-centered philosophy,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge Brand Chief Executive Officer. “The school is the perfect proving ground for our SRT vehicles. We’re excited to build on our relationship with the Radford Racing School team and bring the Dodge//SRT experience to new members of the Brotherhood of Muscle.”
What a wonderful experience to get behind the wheel with professionals. This improves your driving skills by leaps and bounds. I was fortunate in my younger years in FL to have learned from two experienced Sebring race drivers that taught our emergency driving classes for many years. Even though we were taught in full sized Chevrolets, the lessons carry over into every vehicle you own. You never forget them over the years either. Highly recommend to anyone that can afford the school plus the time involved. So cool to have this available with a Challenger.
The current SRT Experience is great. The one that I attended, in 2009, was fun but not very instructional. It was at the former Englishtown Raceway (NJ). It consisted of an 1/8 mile drag race (Grand Cherokee), autocross (Caliber) and hot laps (Challenger & Charger). No seat time with the Viper, however. The coolest part was getting a flash drive containing dashcam footage of the racing.
Bet you a buck that at the end of the driving experience they'll give you a 15% off coupon to use for "Direct Connect" items at your "Power Broker" dealership.
