Hi. New to Challenger. New member, long time lurker. Last summer I picked up a 2011 R/T 6 speed. I was always a Mustang guy but also liked the 60's early 70's Mopars as well and the Challenger when Dodge brought it back out. I wanted more room and comfort this time around so I bought the R/T and I love it. I recently picked up a set of 2019 Scat Pack rims and tires. I'm curious if the TPMS sensors from 2019 will talk to my 2011 car. I have not yet put the tires and rims on because my current tires have a few thousand miles left on them.
I would think not. My wife had a 2018 charger and her Tpms sensors were different than mine when I did a wheel swap on hers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They will work, Check the Compatibility of the Schraders on here many other Challenger owners have had no issues https://www.amazon.com/Schrader-202...er+tpms+433MHz+Chrysler&qid=1638056606&sr=8-3
The Schrader TPMS senor is the same for 2011 and 2019 Challengers. It is Part #SCH28239. https://www.carparts.com/tpms-senso...-fs-T&vehicle[cylinders]=8&vehicle[liter]=5.7
That sounds like great news. I did try to cross reference them but there were so many OEM numbers it was mind boggling. I did notice they are all 433MHz. Thanks guys.
That’s weird. My 2009 challenger has valve stems that are aluminum and my wife’s 2018 charger had ones that were rubber. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I finally put the Scat Pack wheels and tires on my 11 RT about a month ago. The TPMS sensors worked without a hiccup. However the "rim saver" beads on the Goodyear RSA tires rub slightly on the steering knuckles. I did not notice this at first. And now the bead has worn down some and clearanced itself.
