You won't see a rear diff brace in the trunk at all.......

Here's a pic of a rear diff brace, and all of this is under the car....

I had Subframe Connectors on my 79 Z28 for over 10 years never had any issue even when we had Inspection Stations. Can't see where anything would make them not Street Legal, That said Strut Tower Braces makes a night and day handling improvement with the Challengers Street or Track , Straight Line of Road Course as it keeps the Suspension Tight distributes the Torque and Force Balanced to each corner. The Petty Enterprise ones are excellent and very easy to install.

You will also get better Tire wear as well so i'd highly suggest the Strut Tower Upgrade, as for the sub frame connectors those also help distribute torque through the chassis / sub frame / uni body reduces twist. My Z28 had a 600hp Supercharged 427 I put in it with a Doug Nash 5 Speed, and a Narrowed 9" Rear End. When I first took it to a Drag Strip felt the floor trying to flex so local shop modified and fabricate some sub connectors much better on the Street the car felt much more solid.

The Disclaimer is probably because the Connectors will change the Crumble Zone on the Car's undercarriage during an impact and that energy will be adsorbed differently then engineers put into the car and if that causes any injury or those pieces cause other damage to the structure they are not legally liable as its not intended for safety purposes of the vehicle because its not a Roll Cage.

Put the Petty's Rear strut brace on today. Need 17mm deep socket, not regular. Flap behind back seat is a little askew with the top of the triangle in the way. We'll see if there is a difference in driving after the first good rain.
