Windshield washer fluid

    Oh poo, the sxt I just got has a problem with the windshield washer fluid squirting on the wind shield. The dealership is not interested in taking care of it without cost from me. Yeah, I’m pissed. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything I can do myself for this? this doesn’t turn me off from the love I have for my dream car

    When I push the knob for windshield washer fluid. The wipers work, but no washer fluid comes out. I topped off the fluid and tried it with the hood open and I could see fluid coming down from the hood. But when I closed the hood, nada.

    Check on the rubber hose connections. They may be loose.

    The nozzles many be clogged. If the hoses check out okay try shooting some compressed air through the hose to make sure all is clear.

    I haven’t been able to do anything yet, but I plan on it this afternoon with my wife helping me

    I had my wife help me last night. She pushed the windshield washer fluid while I had the hood up to see what was going on. The fluid is leaking under the fire wall on the hood. I don’t know why it is designed this way. I will need to figure out how to remove it and be able to reinstall it. And the dealership said I was sol. Any thoughts from you guys out there?
