I'm sorry to bring up something that might cost you more $$$ but those rims are really large for the Challenger. The car is designed for something a bit closer to the original size. Ride quality will be improved by going smaller as well. Run flats ride hard too. I removed them immediately when I owned a C6 Corvette that came with them. Many others switch to conventional tires as well.

I think the 20's on my R/T are too large but that's what the engineers designed so I'll leave them alone. No one knows better than the guys that built the things. That's just my personal opinion and you may feel totally different so I apologize in advance.

Its fine, I thought they were kinda large too! It rides very smooth though. I was already considering down sizing them. I do like the 22's, but overkill! I appreciate your thoughts. As well as anyone else's. Only want to do whats right by this car. For a 2010, inside and out have been extremely well taken care of. Plan to keep up everything. Bought a car cover too, as I have a carport and no garage.

Some guys install 22" wheels to help fill out the wheel wells. A better solution, is to lower the suspension using H & R lowering springs.

Watch this designer interview (start at 4:00 minute mark) where they discuss why a 20-inch wheel was chosen for the SRT. Their reason was that they wanted to "match the size of the wheels in proportion to the (large) car."

I did the same on my C-6 and went with non RF tires and notice a big difference in ride and noise was alot less.
Challengers don't come with RF tires from factory.:driver:

The place you googled it is wrong...Challengers don't come with runflat tires OR a warning for them. That symbol is just a TPMS pressure warning.....the definition above even states it is a TPMS, and says NOTHING about a runflat tire.

    From my owners manual:

    tpms image.jpg
Tire Pressure Monitoring Telltale Light Each tire, including the spare (if provided), should be checked monthly when cold and inflated to the inflation pressure recommended by the vehicle manufacturer on the vehicle placard or tire inflation pressure label. (If your vehicle has tires of a different size than the size indicated on the vehicle placard or tire inflation pressure label, you should determine the proper tire inflation pressure for those tires).

Because that indicates the traction control kicked in. It shuts off after engaging? Back to normal?
