Today was an incredible day even by North Florida standards. It was about 65 degrees and almost no clouds in the sky.

The nice weather brought out a huge number of cars for the monthly Cruise In at PDQ Chicken. Hot Rods. Classic Muscle Cars. And, of course ... Modern Muscle. Lots of Mopars from every era.

This 2016 Challenger R/T belongs to my buddy, Jerry Miller. It's always a popular photo-op at shows as kids of all ages seem to want to get their picture taken with The Outlaw.

This 2018 Challenger SRT 392 belongs to my buddy, Victor. It has just a little over 5,500 miles on it and gets to spend most of its time in a climate-controlled garage. Still ... his radio screen delaminated at 36 months + 3 weeks. It took over 2 months, but with help from Dodge Cares, he finally got the radio replaced.

My 2015 Challenger SRT 392 feels lucky just to get to hang out with a couple of award winners.

Lots of Mopars from all eras were represented

    And .... of course .... there's always the "unique" at a Cruise-In

What an impressive turnout. Car shows in February. How cool is that! The weather was perfect.
    Thanks for the photos. :Whoa:
That should get me over the hump until the show season starts again here.

And I'm not sure I even got pictures of all of the Mopars. The guy that organizes/oversees this Cruise In said his best guess was about 350 cars yesterday.

I've been playing caregiver lately (my wife had knee replacement surgery on 12/13 and 1/31) and it was good to get out of the house. I'm pretty sure that she was tired of having me around the house .... "isn't there a car show you'd like to go to on Saturday? You should go." ;). I didn't argue. Just dusted off the Challenger.

Thanks for sharing, these photos and the cars you selected were perfect.
    What a difference in weather.
I woke up to 13 degrees F, 35 MPH winds, wind chills in the single digits and still a foot of snow on the ground. And yes, my RT has been out in it this winter. It will be close to 60 degrees tomorrow so better days ahead.

    You're welcome.

Way more cars than there has been in a few months. It was truly perfect weather.

I spoke with the guy that farms our Illinois & Indiana farmland on Thursday when they were prepping for near-blizzard conditions and I was considering switching our system from Heat to AC.

It was in the low-40s and upper-30s here this morning ... and is headed for low-mid 70s this afternoon. "They" are forecasting we'll be in the mid-80s for Wed/Thu/Fri. I'm not ready for the heat and humidity yet. And we're already fighting pollen fallout.

:( It'll be 60's here tomorrow and then back into the 20's and 30's with more ice and snow by Thursday. You're making me cry but I'll be fine in a few months when I open the pool in early May.
Can't wait to get together with some on my friends at a cruise night.

My pool is still a little too cool for me - low 60s water temp - but I did spend some time last week cleaning the filter and adjusting the pool chemicals. It's ready to swim if someone is brave (crazy) enough. My wife is nearly always in the pool by late-March or early-April. Maybe sooner if our 80 degree days hang around for a while.

One of the great things about living in North Florida is that we get some a lot of Fall days this time of year. With 2 or 3 days of Winter thrown in. The Cruise-In schedule runs year-round. God Bless my parents for staying in Florida once my Dad was transferred down here from Illinois in the early '60s.
