I took my challenger to the car wash yesterday. It was looking sad and dingy from the recent winter weather. After the car wash, she looked beautiful again. The orange is a great color for the challenger when it is clean. I went to arbys for lunch, when I came out I discovered two birds pooped on my car. I was distraught. I guess birds really do know to hit clean cars

As my dad used to say, it's "Good luck". You do have to clean it though.:disgust:

I’m taking my car back to the car wash today. Since one payment a month, I can get my car washed as much as I want. I guess I’ll have to turn on my bird radar afterwards.

^^^ I'm sure you know this but make sure you keep that car waxed real well with a quality product. Those car washes will take it's toll if the car is not waxed often, plus we know you have to keep the car outside. Another reason for serious protection, never mind the birds.
What are you using?? Over the years I have used Mother's, Meguiar's and even tried Griot's once at $25 for a paste wax can. All are GOOD without breaking the bank. You can get more expensive stuff but that's mostly for 'show' cars unless you like it anyway for every day use.

Ceramic Paint isn't cheap, but it may help with cleanup.

We've had these wax discussions before. I'm sold on Collinite 845 Insulator Wax for a conventional product. Will hold up to car washes, salt, etc. for at least 4 months on a daily driver. For years, I've done my cars twice a year with it, water always beaded up and junk would rinse off easily and I use my unlimited carwash membership ALOT.
I've starting to put a spray on & buff ceramic sealant on top of the 845. I think it helped durability. You can tell by how well water blows off the car at the carwash and dried on salt rinses off when driving in the rain.
