Agree. Pay a little more and get rotors made in the USA. Stay away from the cheap overseas rotors.

You cannot just slide in new pads, the caliper pistons have to be pushed back into the caliper, doing front brakes may be easy but don't get someone with less knowledge of brake pad replacement in trouble by saying "just slide in the new pads"

I have been fortunate and have not had to replace anything in 75,000 miles. With a 6 SP and driving carefully by not using the brakes unless needed, and taking long trips as well, I still have 1/2 the pad thickness in the front and more in the rear. But I do change brake fluid yearly when I swap from winter to summer tires. I still have the original Goodyear tires and rims that the car came with in 2009. When I need new pads, I will just replace them and not do the rotors. I ran my '68 Cuda Formula S 340 for over 200,000 miles on the original rotors. Just pad replacement and occasionally caliper rebuild as the chrome plated pistons tended to seize in the bores.

I have read that silicone brake fluid is by far the best but have not swapped to that yet as I am waiting to replace the original pads.

Brembo brake pads are made for racing. As a result, they can be easily changed in minutes with no need to remove the caliper. Watch this video.

Ask the price before committing.. get the price.... Never take your car to the same place you get a inspection unless you trust them?????
Dealers are the best for work is bullchit... Believe me I know... This asshole, car in the air. tried to screw me my tie rods were all bad... I was under the car and saw the problem.. The sorry don't know the name was bad.... They replaced the steering arm and it was all fixed... Never took my cars back again. Assholes fixing cars... .

Ah, the old pricing deal.... I have worked in two dealerships and owned my repair shop for over forty years. Dealers get a bad rap and some should. They do not get parts from Rock auto. They have to make a profit on parts They have overhead. They usually would not install pads on untrued rotors. We were taught to true new rotors and have found many that were in much need of it.. If you are capable of DIY, just do it. I am sure you expect a profit at your job, or your boss does. In all my years I have never had to give a bid as my customers trusted me and told me to just do it.. I have been lucky to live where I do.... :):)
