I used to build 351 Cleveland motors and 5.4L modulars and know a thing or two about engines, but it seems to me that my Scat which now has 3600 miles just sounds a bit different. Under mild throttle and low speed I actually hear the valves a bit at the higher end of each gear cycle. The car does not have the dreaded tick, but it seems to me that it now feels in Track mode the way I remember it feeling in sport- or maybe, I just got used to it. Have you guys noticed some minor valvetrain noise or any change in feel from when you first got the car? Without riding it hard I only get 11.1 mpg in surburban Boca Raton. With more highway it jumps up a bit.I don't drive much so it's fine but some of you guys talk about 15,16, 17 mpg....not me. Comments?

I live in Boca, too. Around town I get more like 13-14. That’s with the 6.1L 2010 SRT. I’ve gotten as high as 21 on a trip to Gainesville and back, but on a trip to Orlando this past weekend the best it would do is 19. I wonder if they are putting more ethanol in the gas these days???

Just wait for E15. I bet it will be forces on us by presidential EO. Just a way to subsidize MegaFarming.
