Anyone have the Katskin seat covers installed. Pictures. Your opinions. Considering for my Hellrasin when it comes in to replace cloth seating

Hi Gary, my 2010 plum crazy R/T classic had them as a dealer installed option when I purchased the car new in 2010. It has the white leather with purple trim and Challenger script. The drivers seat is showing a little wear after 12 years of use, but back when the car was newer that white leather was stunning and got a lot of compliments. I took some photos the day after I bought it, I'll dig them out and post them.

What about those semi-sheep skins seat covers that are side air bag capable that have large storage pockets in the rear sold at Costco? Great prices at around $40-$50 last time I saw them.

Here you go. I love them.
I bought them through a Dodge dealer and had a car builder install them.

Here's white Katskin I had installed when I bought my 2012 R/T new in 2012 (came with black cloth). The dealer sent it out to their upholsterer, cost me $800. They did the front & rear seats, headrests, door panel inserts, and console cover in white. The dealer initially set the price at $2,000, then $1,000, but we eventually agreed upon $800, so you can negotiate. I think you can buy the katskin covers in a variety of colors online for about $400, I got a set for my 2002 Ram that I installed myself.

The covers wore well and feel softer (maybe thinner leather) than the factory leather I got on my 2015 Scatpack shaker. The white leather looked great against my white body color & red R/T classic stripes and got lots of compliments. It also styed cool in the north TX heat. I cleaned and moisturized them every few months and the kept white. Over 33,000mi and 3 years they didn't develop any cracks or tears and the wrinkles discolored to a light beige on the driver seat that was hardly noticeable. There was no black showing through the wrinkles like you see on factory died leather seats.

sO this makes me wonder is it better not to order the Alcantra leather seat option stick with standard if possible (houndstooth if option "build your own" allows it?) then go aftermarket route as far as cost, more color choices and quality goes?
