A modified Hellcat, with 930 whp., ran a 10.32 sec. quarter @134 mph.

The Hellcat has a 4.5-liter Whipple supercharger, dual fuel pumps, ID1300X injectors, methanol injection, long-tube headers, and much more. Future plans include a 180mm Whipple throttle body and a new inlet tube.

LOL waiting for someone to say, "Welp, my uncle Leroy down in Frog Pond Holler sez he's makin' 1300hp on the stock headers, so you are totally wasting your money on the long tube headers."

You know, having been spoiled by Dodge's idiot-proofing traction/etc. control, I wonder at the idea of me driving something like that that actually requires forethought and planning.

Sincere question. I’m wanting to get a used Hellcat at some point and maybe have some fun with it. Wouldn’t he have been better off with chassis mods and lowering the weight of the vehicle? Does anyone make a 4.10 or lower gear?

A friend of mine from South Dakota brought this brand new Hellcat Redeye to Rock Falls Raceway this past weekend. It had 300 miles on it when the left South Dakota, over 600 after arriving in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at Rock Falls. No mods except slicks. Ran a best of 10.56 et at over 130 MPH in the muscle car brackets IMG_0101sm.jpg . Pretty impressive.
