Hey everybody, great forum here, hope to learn more about this great car. I had a Corvette, but up here in Canada people tend to put their Vettes away during the winter and I lost my parking spot for my winter beater, So I needed a car that I could use all year long. I looked at several different types of cars, SUV's and trucks but in the end I really liked the styling and handling of the Dodge Challenger.

Why did You choose a Challenger ?

I bought a 2009 SRT to replace my 1971 'Cuda.

    Welcome to the forum.
I bought my 2015 RT new in July 2016. I needed a car because I was retiring and losing my company car. We have a nice SUV and I wanted something sporty. I love driving my 69 Camaro SS but not as a daily driver. The new Camaro was out of the question and I had a 2006 Mustang convertible as a "fun" family car. Got rid of the Mustang for several reasons and chose the Challenger for its retro muscle car styling and performance. Its the best of both worlds, style, performance, exhaust note and reliability.
So what do you think of your Challenger so far?

Because they don't make a modern 1971 Satellite. Note the resemblance in the grille-surround shape as viewed from the front between the Last Attractive Roadrunners (up to 1971) and the Challenger, most especially the Hellcat. The bottom is level until it is near the headlights, when it dips down. They even foreshadowed this in the 1970 Roadrunners.

Who can use this as well as Mopar? Something about it looks serious, not weak.

America and Mopar will rise again! Next thing we could use is a hyper Viper and a whole lineup of big Mopars!

So is this Green one yours?

I bought a Challenger instead of a Mustang or Camaro because it resembled what it looked like in the old days far better than the other two.

I bought a used 2018 SXT in January. I was diagnosed with leukemia and wanted to drive something very fun and enjoyable with the time I have left. This car is a blast and being mango orange, it really stands out. I hope that you enjoy your challenger as much as I do mine

The original owner spent a ton on professionally done mods (supercharger, exhaust, coilovers, wheels and tires) that made it too appealing not to pursue at the depreciated price.

You will enjoy all of that extra space and cargo room by going to a Challenger.
