Some interesting speculation about the 2014 Challenger from Automobile magazine. Next generation Dodge Challenger could arrive as early as 2014
The Barracuda is supposed to come out in 2015 and be based on a much smaller and lighter chassis than the present Challenger. I think what we are seeing is the "refreshed" Challenger for 2013- maybe the new SRT. If it has a divider in the grill, it may resemble a cross between the the 2006 concept car and the SRT10 SEMA car.
The designers had to fight with their corporate bosses to have a clean grill on the 2008 Challenger (like the 1970), and not the "trademark" Dodge cross-hair grill. Check out this interview with Jeff Gale, the designer of the 2008 Challenger's exterior. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OJCeEh5DBo
