Anyone hear when the 22 builds will begin…..Ordered my 22 RT in November. Still no word yet other than D. Asked dealer-who I’ve been with since 09 ..They don’t know. No word from regional representative I guess I’m going to wait until March 1 then cancel …pick up a 21
I know of someone who ordered a Scat Pack Widebody on 11-12-21. He got a VIN from his salesman about a month later. A couple weeks ago, he was informed that it was in D1 status, with an estimated build date of 2-15-22. Another guy ordered a 2022 Challenger 1320 on Nov 13, 2021. It is in D1 status with a scheduled build of 2/21/22 and estimated shipping date of 3/8/22. Unfortunately, there was a price increase of approximately 5% on the base price ($2,100). After Brampton builds a Challenger, it must still go to the Upfit Center, in Windsor, for stripes, shakers, T/A, hood pins, black-out, interior appearance group, etc. Here are the factory letter codes and what they mean: BA: New order that hasn't been checked BB: Review by fleet department BD: Special equipment processing BE: Edit error BG: Passed edit n/a for schedule BGL: Edit ok parts unavailable BX: Passed edit available for schedule C: Sub firm - Tentative schedule D: Firm schedule - dealer has allocation and all parts available D1: Gateline schedule - scheduled to be built E: Frame F: Paint G: Trim I: Built not ok'd J: Built ok'd JB: Shipped to Upfit Center (for Stripe) JE: Emission check JS: Shipped to storage KZ: Released by plant , invoiced KZL: Released - not shipped KZM: First rail departure KZN: First rail arrival KZO: Delayed/received KZOA: Plant holds KZOB: Zone/distribution holds KZOC: Carrier delays KZOD: Carrier holds KZOE: Mis-shipped vehicle KZOF: Show/test vehicle KZOG: Damaged vehicle KZOH: All other reasons KZT: Second rail departure KZU: Second rail arrival KZX: Delivered to dealer ZA: Canceled
New here. Wondering if y'all have a vin tracker like they do over in the Ram forum, to help those that order get a better idea of ordering processes and expectations. I did just order a scatpack, and wondering if the salesperson was acurate with his 16-20 weeks guesstimate. Lol
My wife and I ordered a '22 Scat PAC Shaker Widebody F8 6M, hood pins, sunroof, Carmel interior, Hellcat spoiler. Was just told it will likely turn into a '23 model. My question is does anyone know anyone at Dodge as my brother was told that Dodge will build brother's who order Challengers consecutive vins along with interior plaques. Any truth to this??? He is going to order the identical car to ours except PCP color when the '23 models open up for ordering.
