I have a 3.09 rear end sitting around I need to get rid of. I got it to try for autocross after I got a tune and some upgrades but it didn't work out as well as I'd hoped. It was only on my car for a handful of events and I got it from a guy on here who said it was low mileage. It's been boxed up, with oil and the seals on it since I took it out. I'll let it go for $600 O.B.O. plus shipping if you're more than 100 miles from Knoxville, TN and we can't figure out a way to meet. Pics on request. Best way to contact me is email as I don't check here often [email protected].

What didn't work out as well as you hoped?

Here's my guess: you didn't have the traction on the rear wheels to fully take advantage of the 3.09?

I remember sitting around the flight line with other crew members looking at car magazines and talking about what we were going to buy when we got back to the world. All the talk was, I'm going to get this, with these options on my GT Mustang, SS Chevelle or GTX. Can't remember anyone saying they wanted a fugly Superbird.

Sorry, wrong thread. Was meant for 69 Daytona sold at Mecum. I'll try harder next time

Ah, another "one and done" OP.
