Here is a new device that prevents a thief from rolling your Challenger away by shifting it to emergency neutral. I think that it is a good idea, but I would also suggest tamper-proof screws. HOW TO STOP THEFT OF YOUR DODGE CHARGERS AND CHALLENGER - YouTube
The best thing to do is buy a manual transmission Challenger or get the Challenger SXT V6 as that isn't the hot ticket Challenger like the high performance V8 Challengers. Then you have no worries or anxiety about leaving that car on a public street or parking lot. Who needs that kind of anxiety? I know as I remember the days when old Corvettes were being stolen out of owners garages and theives were using tow trucks to steal the Corvettes off the street. Things were not high tech back then but yet there was a theft problem. With these new Challengers these thieves have also countered the high tech measures and kept up with technology. (That's what criminals do) What these Corvette owners would do is block the driveway with their other cars which is how bad the theft rate got with OLD Corvettes back in the 70's.
