This video makes the argument that the new Demon DC170 will be a better buy and investment than a Hellcat or a limited edition model, like the Black Ghost.

The truth is for me I would love to have the special 2023 Challenger Scat Pack Green Swinger edition. Hell Cats and Demon's are fine but particularly the Demon is really only good for the drag strip with a prepared sticky track and there is more up keep with the supercharged cars. To me the 392 Scat Pack is very fun to drive and with its low end torque it feels faster than it really is. Also it's much more of say a daily friendly driver. This of course my opinion but I really love the looks of the 2023 Challenger Swinger Scat Pack!

I am trying to find a demon 170 for a customer out of state, found a lot of dealers getting one and the dealer i primary deal with is getting four of them which is a very large Steeler ship and they are taking bids on one at this time to see how that goes and i asked where it was at this time and it was $110, 000 over sticker and they took my information down if anything would change they would get in touch with me on the other (3) i think they will see the bid deal is there best deal.. after talking to (10) different dealers as of yesterday the other dealers i spoke with were doing the same thing , one dealer had a bid of $65,000 over sticker and another one had one $85,000 over sticker as of yesterday and i talked to a dealer that the owner was keeping there's. and one smaller dealer was not able to get one, and one said they were doubling the price of what ever the sticker was. I did have a dealer tell me they sold there's @ what ever sticker was a few months back . out of the ten dealers I spoke to yesterday six of the salesmen were very rude and being a smart As* I guess when the demon crave is over some people will remember them when they go in and price a plug in car? THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED , WHY DO THEY EVEN PUT A WINDOW STICER ON THEM . GREED PURE GREED!

The dealers are going nutty and are loving their license to steal. I know this would not happen but if the buying public would just tell the dealers that they will not pay a penny over the sticker then after a while they would be glad to sell them that way. I personally remember the Road Runner Super Birds back in 1970 the Dealers couldn't sell them because no one wanted them. In fact I bought a new1971 Road Rnner but the salesman was trying to sell me a 1970 brand new Super Bird with a sticker price of 5100.00 for 3000.00 which in September of 1970 was unbelievable. I remember the exact words I said to the salesman ( I was 18 at that time) I said I'm not driving that ugly thing around so I bought the New 1971 I looked at. By the way the Super Bird was Red ,Black interior with console and 4 speed with a 440. Back then I didn't have a crystal ball to tell me what it would be worth 52 years later Lol !

Actually I believe it's called price gouging, and illegal but you would need the time and money to get a Lawyer.

My father was a sales manager at a local Chrysler Plymouth dealership back in 1970 and the owner knew what other dealers were going to do as far as mark up's and I remember the owner telling my father to sell their Super Bird for whatever sticker was going to be, as you remember if the dealership did not order one Chrysler sent you whatever they wanted. Every Plymouth dealer got one. Here is the very picture of the one we received. With a 440 6BBL auto on the column, bench seat.

I heard of some dealers removing the nose cones and rear spoilers and converting them into standard Road Runners just to sell them.

Even though I was 18 back in 1970 if I had of known what that Super Bird would eventually be worth I believe I would have tried to figure out how to buy it and put it up somewhere. But I didn't know plus I didn't have money to buy it and a car to drive too.
