I just took 1st in my Division at Mopars in the Park. Had the only V6 in my class. Also took home a $124 ticket from Wisconsin for what the officer described as an, “Exhibition of Power”. Lol.
Not sure. He basically saw me speeding as I drove by the police station. He caught up with me a few miles up the road but couldn’t give me a speeding ticket because he didn’t clock me. He had to get creative. Lol.
The legal definition of "exhibition of speed" is accelerating or driving at a rate of speed that is dangerous and unsafe in order to show off or make an impression on someone else. Sometimes you can be cited just from squealing tires. The following is a funny prank video in which the police thought they observed an exhibition of speed. Legal Street Racing Prank!! - YouTube
I just bought new Continental Extreme Contact tires that I can’t spin. There was nobody anywhere near where I was driving and I was probably going 50-55mph in a 35mpg zone. Hardly unsafe. Lol. I’ve got $124. I could probably beat the ticket but won’t bother.
