I am having to deal with my challenger blowing hot air. As soon as it gets over 90 degrees (which is everyday in Texas). My air conditioner doesn’t blow cold air. I looked at a couple of videos on YouTube and it said I need a special adapter and a specific recharge to match my challenger. Any recommendations. I bought a kit, but I don’t know if it will work now. Desperately need air conditioner to work properly. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
I recently installed a new condenser in my 2013. The gauges I borrowed from O'Reilly Auto parts actually came with connections for both types of refrigerant. I may have been lucky in that they did not have that rental available and ordered it brand new. Auto Zone also has loaners.
Went to auto zone. They were very helpful. I spent $139 on the special adapter and the refrigerant I needed. They aren’t officially supposed to help me, but they did it for me. Now I have cold air in my car again. Which is especially nice in Texas.
