    Hey everyone,
New to this forum and owner of a 2018 B5 blue R/T Plus (second owner). I also have been restoring a '67 Plymouth Satellite over the last few decades (yes, decades (ugh!)) and have been a Mopar fan forever.

Beautiful Challenger. Is the picture of your Satellite showing its current state? You got skills to be fixing the rust. Welcome from Alabama.

Yes, pretty much. The rest of the unibody is now in primer. I'm working to get the remaining body panels (fenders, doors, hood, trunk) in primer at the moment.
Thanks, but I'm a much better grinder than welder! (lol)

What are your plans for the Satellite - engine, upgraded suspension, brakes?

    Red Chihuahua,
we are much alike. I have a '09 B4 R/T as well and owned/rebuilt a '66 Belvedere II with a original 426 Hemi 4SP. It was QQ1 Dark Red Poly with a black vinyl top and black interior. Boy did that car run well. But had to sell it in 1999 when I moved and couldn't take all my cars with me. Sad day.

Plans at this point are to keep things stock with a few exceptions:
    > stock suspension with exception of beefier torsion bars,
    > stock brakes (may upgrade front brakes from drum to disc),
    > stock rear (8 3/4 with 3.23 gears - non-suregrip (may upgrade to suregrip at some point)),
    > upgrade engine from stock 318 2 bbl single exhaust to slightly hopped-up 383 with 4 bbl and 2.5" dual exhaust,
    > changeover sb 727 trans to stock bb 727 trans.
The 383 is an engine my dad built-up for use in a 58 Fury that he dirt-track-raced back in the late 60's/early 70's - the engine hasn't run since that time, but will hopefully not need too much to fire up. My dad is a well-seasoned mechanic so getting it going should not be an issue! (lol)
