A more tempting alternative for me would be the 315hp 4 cyl turbocharged ecoboost Mustangs cause they can be significantly modded inexpensively (starting with a $500 JB4 tuner which adds 60 rwhp to the factory platform just by itself).

Only thing about the Mustang is they are not even close to the room and comfort of the Challenger interior. The Mustang made me feel like I had been stuffed into a sardine can.

Amen. I've owned many cars during my seven decades and have never enjoyed one as much as my '21 Challenger GT. With 4WD she's an amazing all-season cruiser.

She mows through snow and ice like my 4WD RAM. Comfortable ride, excellent gas mileage, bullet-proof Pentastar, practical back seat, HUGE trunk with flip-down back seats, excellent handling, sun roof, NAV system, upgraded sound, and loaded with all the modern safety features -- makes this car a winner.

With the Blacktop option, she has zero exterior chrome. It makes her dark, brooding, and downright sexy.

I could never shift a manual as fast and efficiently as her 8 speed auto.

She's faster than I'd ever need her to be, as attested by my ticket record. Passes on the highway like lightning.

In terms of comfort, styling, and performance, my last car, a Mustang GT (similar HP), pales in comparison.

But, let's be honest, the Challenger is the only modern muscle car that seriously pays homage to its vintage styling. That's why I bought her and love her. And will keep her.

It was a sad day for me when Brampton shut down.

I had the same feeling when I sat in a new Camaro. The best analogy that I read was that the driver's view was equivalent to looking out of the gun slit of a Normandy pillbox. lol.

Those Eco boost may give you power, but I would be it's not a 200K motor, especially if it's one of the Ford's that leaves a belt submerged in oil!

The ecoboost Mustangs use a chain. Wet belt systems are rare. Most belt applications are dry.
