Here is a comparison of the dimensions of the Challenger and the new EV Charger. The Charger is longer, wider and higher, with a larger wheelbase. I suspect that it will also be much heavier with its batteries. Charger Challenger Length 206.6 in., 197.7 in. Width 79.8 in., 75.7 in. Height 58.9 in., 55.7 in. Wheelbase 121 in., 116 in. Powertrains EV, I6 V6, V8
Hi guys Im back I lost the site for a while, so to make up I wrote a bunch o stuff today, although Ive been busy with said car while I was out....... Tom I can't say I care for it, looks like a cross between the Charger and the Challenger, ( 2 door Charger?)plus everyone in my hood has Teslas and Im NOT a fan. So I'll stick with my gas muscle car thanks all the same. Thumbs down on this one.........
I'm not nor will I ever be interested in an EV. I am however interested in the gas version of the new Charger. The body style looks nice and the interior is very nice I think the 550 horse and over 500 fp torque along with the full time 4 wheel drive will be great. They are also saying they will have the exhaust set up to sound like the V8 challenger and Charger of today. I'll just have to wait and see how it actually turns out but I will look them over and test drive it. NOT THE EV !
If they can get battery range up to 400 miles or so and charging times down to 10 min or so maybe. I bought a chevy bolt (for the tax rebate). It dropped 38% in value in 1 year which is saying alot because i bought it for msrp. Drove it on a 4.5hr trip which took 6hrs with charging... Needless to say traded it in on challenger lol Sent from my SM-S928U using Tapatalk
I like the looks of the new Charger. I'm curious about the weights with the internal combustion engine. I fully expect the electric version to be much heavier.
it's note the dress that's ugly. It's YOU. -me to the car beneath the sheetmetal, not the appearance of the sheetmetal.
