i do not care about, and choose not to ever care about electric vehicles. I will wait until we run completely out of petroleum, which is constantly being produced. :D It is not "non-renewable." My father was in the oilfield and many engineers have said the same as he: the formations PRODUCE petroleum, it is not a "find it once and it's gone" like gold.

I know the same braying harpies that claim cows farting is a bigger problem then congressmen flying to Epstein island 200 times per person, per year will shriek about how every time you breathe, you are killing literally everyone everywhere or whatever their fetish is this week, but plants absorb all the extra C02, and we have oil for another thousand years or so, that we KNOW of.

Oh, no, the latest thing is we have to pay more tax to change the weather because of Covid masks causing erectile dysfunction in female, or whatever.

Regardless of the future of fossil fuels, ICE-powered cars can be fueled with synthetic gasoline and/or green ethanol. This preserves the energy density of hydrocarbon fuel while reducing or even eliminating the atmospheric impact.

EVs are not the panacea that they are being presented as. If you agree with the push to reduce greenhouse gasses, you have to understand that there are more than a billion existing cars and trucks on the planet that will be operating for many more decades. Changing the base fuel and extending the life of the existing fleet makes a lot more economic and environmental sense than trying to change over the energy supply chain on a global basis.

At Roadkill Nights, Dodge has finally debuted the new Charger Daytona.

It will come in the following two versions:

    2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T

Last week, Dodge said the all-new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T will feature the Direct Connection Stage 1 Upgrade straight from the factory. It will have a total of 496 horsepower and 404 lb.-ft. of torque. The R/T models will have a sport suspension and start at a MSRP of $59,595 plus $1,995 destination fees.

2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack

The more powerful and faster version will be the all-new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack model. The Scat Pack will come standard with the Direct Connection Stage 2 Upgrade straight from the factory. It will have 670 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque. The Scat Pack will also come outfitted with the Stage 2 and Track Package. The Scat Pack will do 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds while running the quarter-mile in an estimated 11.5 seconds. This will keep Dodge’s reputation as producing the world’s quickest and most powerful muscle car. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack will start with a MSRP of $73,190.

    • Two-door coupe versions of Charger Daytona R/T and Charger Daytona Scat Pack will begin production in summer 2024
    • Production of four-door Daytona models will begin first half of 2025

The styling looks great. I doubt I would be able to afford it . Maybe for some of you wealthy folks on here.

The new Charger Daytona has a lot of build quality issues, even though they are only building 10 a day.

:) The car's style has not grown on me yet? And the electric part for sure doe's not excite me AT ALL! I would think with all of our technologly some way some how the companies could come up with a way the cars could keep the batteries or battery charged. That would be a no-branier. Our ice cars do... I am exaggerating here, put a serp belt on the wheel or wheels and turn high output "alternators" on it . That would be great would it not? If the companies come up with something like this some of us could justify buying one. thats my opinion.
