The more expensive Scat Pack EV will continue. As an old Mopar fan I hate to see it fail. I wish they had released V8s and EVs at the same time rather than throwing all of their eggs in one basket.

That's because of our last and bad administration we had that ended it for maybe all us car companies.

More problems for the Daytona EV. These cars are being recalled because they are too quiet.

Specifically, Dodge says it is recalling 800 of these electrified cars because a speaker meant to pump out sound can fail due to a software problem, thereby making the car non-compliant with federal motor vehicle safety standards around noises emanating from electric vehicles. The recall is focused on the 2024–2025 model year Chargers.

Dealers will be installing a software update or a new sound amplifier.

I think the outgoing (thank God) Chief whatever he/it was confused some things, maybe

Tavares: "Oh, the Mopar customers are commenting on accidentally discovering some of the EV Chargers at charging stations, recharging."

His assistant: "Sir, Mopar customers are actually saying 'I found the car revolting,' not 'We discovered the car recharging.'"

This guy leased a Charger Daytona R/T and has had a lot of problems with it. Specifically, with the driver door fitment, rear hatch release, front power seat, sound amplifier (recall) and UConnect. Way too many trips to the dealer for repairs.

These types of issues for a production vehicle like this I would say is expected, maybe in Four or five years if they continue with EV'S they will get better.

If they could get let's say 1000 miles out of a full charge then a 2 Or 3 hour full charge for the next 1000 miles and a battery warranty for 15 years, then Stellantis would have better sales IMO.

I haven't heard of any EVs that can get 1,000 miles out of a full charge.
