The 10 Most Devastating Mopar Performance Engines, Ranked
To start with, you need a engine builder like Ray Barton or Roy Johnson that builds these engines and have had these engines on a dyno for a living to list the top (10) mopar engines. it's kinda like reading a hot rod magazine, do you believe everything in that magazine especially "mopar articles" ? you be the judge, most of these articles are B/S !
Yes, that's a "No-brainer" and (4) 3.0 Hurricane Twin-Turbo- 550 hp. this engine is not even proven as far as durability? and the 5.7 has had problems since it was born we have replaced several timing chains in them too. And where is the The 354 cubic inch supercharged Hemi that they use in the nhra Factory Stock class based from the 5.7 and modified ? and like said, the 340 + 6 engine or even the 4bbl engine it was a monster also? this author that wrote this article probably can not change his own oil. I realize the 354 hemi was not stock production engine but could be ordered in a drag pak challenger from the factory.
Yes & No.. The article writer is comparing naturally aspirated engines with forced induction. No doubt the forced induction will have that HP advantage..
