Uncle Tony talks about the history of the 1970-1971 Plymouth Duster, Dodge Demon and their grocery-getter trims the Twister and Sizzler.

    Two interesting bits of trivia:

    1. Dodge originally wanted the 340 Duster to be a sleeper car and called it the "CK" (Clark Kent). It was supposed to look like the "plain Jane" Duster Valient but the under the hood insulation pad was the image of Superman. Unfortunately, Dodge could never get the license, like Plymouth did with the Road Runner.

    2. Incredibly, the 1971 Dodge Demon was supposed to be called the Beaver. Fortunately, that name changed to the Demon 340. In 1972, it was changed, again, to the Rallye Sport 340. This was because many Christian groups objected to the Demon nameplate and further objected to the smiling devil and pitchfork emblem that appeared on the vehicle. (Note- I guess things have changed. The modern Demon logo looks a lot more wicked and not cartoonish).

Back then, the comic "Hot Stuff" by Harvey comics, I believe, was fairly popular, the diaper-clad little tough guy with a chip on his shoulder.

I think people had more of a sense of humor back then, and knew whether they were male or female or human or a giant flying grape.

Along those lines, there was Spooky, the Tuff Litle Ghost.

Now, this one REALLY had a chip on his shoulder.

Prior to that time, the derby was a symbol of a tough guy, which I guess was associated with the Irish who were an often-oppressed group, including slavery, in the USA not too long beforehand.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish did not get that name due to being noted for calmness.

That the Irish are effective fighters is nowhere more demonstrated than the siege of Jadotville in The Congo by negroes in the 1970's, I believe.

Do yourself a favor and gather your buddies ands sons and make an evening of watching the movie, it is free on Youtube:

I have noticed that the very-pedosatanic aka left-wing-slanted internet tries to erase the history of slavery of whites, especially the Irish.

Oh, the the "Religion of Peace" and their enslavement of much of Europe and Africa, which they are hard at work to repeat to this day:

The (redacted terminology) that inhabit many political offices have not "taken up arms against racism" to fight the "offensiveness" of the term "fighting Irish," I have noticed, I guess because they can't warp it to appeal to their herd of illegal alien voters, which herd the present president is making FAR more engangered, as a species.

On that note, since Trump cleaned up Washington, DC, they went 12 days in a row with ZERO murders, for the first time in recorded history, unlike Chicago, which had 45 or so shootings and 9 known homicides over the Labor Day Weekend.

I have not yet seen a women's university use the Heroic Aborters as their mascot or team name, but, hey, who knows?
