    Hello all.

I just got me a 2019 Scat Widebody 6-speed manual. Had to give my SRT8 a break (my baby needed it).

Pretty sure my Scat does not come with a locking nut for the rims. Do I just go to a tire shop like discount and get a locking nut? Is it that easy?

I also bought a dash cam with motion sensor, a steering wheel lock and will be installing an alarm. I keep hearing Scats are being stolen left and right. What else can I do to make it harder for thieves?

    Advice would be great.

By the way, do you know that steering wheel locks can easily be defeated?

You can either cut the steering wheel with a hack saw and slide it off, or squirt freon into the lock and hit it with a hammer to destroy it.

    Get a Ravelco.

nothing will stop a rollback from dragging it up on the bed , that is what they are doing in the big cities around me.

It would be a little harder to do that to my car. I also have a wheel boot on the front.

the thief's do not care about damage to the car they want parts, and yes our roll back can drag your challenger on the roll back with no problem. anyway they mostly want hellcats and higher end cars , if it gives you a piece of mind , that's all that matters. i do not have any theft devise on any of my cars they are all insured , if they steal any of them i will come out ahead. let them steal mine.

I realize that most of the anti-theft devices only foil amateurs or joyriders. But, my precautions make me feel better.

    This is not true.
There is a company that makes a metal cover with special fasteners that goes over the transmitter Reliese lever so the thief's can't put the car in neutral to push it away.

Also another company makes a special switch harness that will disable the push to start or key start that will will not allow the car to start even if the thief's have the key.
These are also available for ram truck. :)

I would choose quality wheel locks like these mopar or McGuard.

Also there are companies that make special switch harnesses that will disable the starter, and block the transmission neural release lever.

Also check into the driveshaft mid bearing support that goes around the stock support so it does not fail.
This failure seems to be a problem with the standard shift cars.

I do not know what you are talking about, i said the rollback would still be able to pull a vehicle on to the bed . we have pulled wrecks with out a front end without a problem . a thief is after cars parts, in this case, and all they want to do is get it to a chop shop.
