The Ferrari 12Cilindri features color-shifting paint, that required nearly two years of work. The new color is called Yoonseul, which translates to “the sparkling sunlight on the sea” in Korean. Like the Mystichrome paint that Ford offered on the 2004 Mustang SVT Cobra, the color changes depending on the angle from which you’re observing it and how the light hits it, shifting from green to purple to blue. Very cool.
Also, not exactly color shifting, but some MOPAR paints have mica flakes in them that slightly change the color hue from bright sunlight to sunset. My HEMI orange paint looks bright orange in mid-day but looks reddish at sunset.
