I have a set of Challenger stainless hood scoop grille inserts that I'm willing to let go.

They'll come with a modified set of stock hood scoop grilles and rubber boots.

They retail for $110 for the inserts, $75 (average) for the functional hood scoops.

I'll let them go to whoever needs them or wants them for $100 shipped.

The stock grilles were channeled out to make space for the inserts. The inserts have screw posts on the backs that screw in. You can always take yours and channel them out as well. The scoops are a bit scuffed and scratched, the rubber boots are good to go. The inserts are clean and free of any defect, with a good shine.

    PM me if interested.

You can always save your stock inserts for the blacked out look. If you are looking to add some bling to the hood, these look good.

I bought a stock set to replace them because I'm not a chrome guy.

Do you have a picture? are any of the scuffs visible when installed?

So what happens in the rain or a wash? Won't it get funky water all of the engine bay?

    Good question

That's a very good question, those who have them functional do you have issues with trying to keep the engine bay clean? Recognizing its not a sealed environment but do theses add more water etc. splashing in?

The scoops are pretty well designed. Any water that gets in to the engine bay drops down by the exhaust manifolds.

Does anyone know if these will work for a 2012 R\T? I've seen in a few places where the R\T Classics have functional scoops but mine didn't. Dang it...

Don't sweat it, they don't really do much of anything.

You can always add a Cervini's Ram Air panel that makes them kind of sort of functional although I'm not sure you really get enough air through those small scoops to make a whole lot of a difference.
