Hello everyone. I'm a new Challenger owner and I'm trying to figure out if I have an issue with my windshield. When I drive on the highway, I can hear wind like when the window is cracked open. I'm not sure where the air is coming from but it almost seems like my windshield is not installed properly. Is this an issue or am I being paranoid? It's really not that bad but it is bothersome.
You shouldn't hear any wind noise when all of your windows are up. Take it back to the dealer and have it corrected under your warranty. If you have a sun roof, I would have that checked as well.
I don't have a sunroof and I'm fairly certain it's not coming from the windows. Thanks for the advice. I'll give the dealer a call tomorrow.
In '99 I bought a new silverado and the windshield did the same thing. Bad seal. They told me I was out of luck and would have to pay for it myself. Wind noise and moisture leaked in.
Mine was leaking when I washed the car. It was still under warranty so I took it in and after a three freakin' days, I finally got my at back. They were supposed to remove it and re-seal it but they ended up breaking it so I had to wait for a new one to arrive.
