My 2013 challenger R/T doesn't sound any different than any other new car and doesn't have that "muscle car exhaust note" that my dealer advertisement booklet they have inside the dealership says. What new exhaust system will work on these 5.7 hemis that will give a great sound when starting, ideling or when cruising without any annoying drone when the 4 cylinders shut down in eco mode ? do the resonators prevent better sound ? what DO they do ?

There are a few good ones out there. Your best bet is to go on youtube and search for challenger exhaust. Several companies and owners have posted up videos to show how well the perform and sound. I always have heard good stuff from Borla. For instance, here is one. Not to loud, but still sounds mean.

But I have always been a Flowmaster American Thunder fan forever. Just fast forward it to 2:00 to hear the exhaust, or just watch the whole thing. Who couldn't look at Jay Leno's collection. :p

shaggy, I talked with my mopar dealer and they have their Mopar catback exhaust system that has a part # of P5155959 it says something about it having RSC technology ( reflective sound cancellation ) that eliminates interior drone. they are pretty pricey at the dealer with a cost od $1820.00 but would charge me $1547.00. I didn't think to ask if that included installation. I wish I could hear what this system sounded like on a 5.7 challenger. they also have the mopar cold air intake part # 77070044 for $ 480.00 but my cost would be $ 408.00

Dude go to some random work shop and tell em to make new exhaust for you and you just order mufflers you want to !!! It's alot cheaper too.
