I have the 5 speed autostick with sport mode in my 2013 R/T I have looked through both the owners manual and DVD that came with my car and it says I have 3 modes for my sport mode off- on- & track. I am thinking the track mode is for SRTs but I am not sure. Does my sport mode change my suspension like it says or just transmission shifts ? also, what does it mean when it says cycle from run to off to run to get into different sport modes. Is this with the engine off ? I don't see myself turning a key to run when it is already started. neither the owners manual or DVD manual explains if the sport mode features are only available with srts even when equipped in R/T 5.7 cars with autostick. what exactly can I expect from my sport mode and does it work only in autostick or will it also work in full automatic operation ? thanks.

It raises the shift rpm, sort of like a mild shift kit. The 2010's don't have it ,my Predator did the same thing. I have MDS disabled and in D, not autostick it shifts smoothly like when it was stock..In autostick it shifts at 5800 which is where I set it. I tried 6200 and my times were unchanged,so I lowered it, less wear and tear on the engine...

With MDS turned off, you still have the D setting and it stays on 8 cylinders ?

    sport mode

I have the 2013 RT auto / autostick . I have wondered the same thing as I have not messed with the sport mode & the salesman didn't even fully explain it either!! he just said that if you are out on a curvy stretch of freeway you can hit the sport mode and the car would handle better. a pretty lame explaination when you are trying to sell a higher-end muscle car!

need more info on this subject.....please advise

I think in our R/Ts autostick it will automatically downshift and will rev up to the red line & shift itself to save itself, with sport mode it winds to the red line & will not shift itself, you have to shift. I thought sport mode stiffened up the suspension but I heard that is only for the SRTs.. what color is your 2013 R/T ? Mine is all white no stripes.
