TK's Garage is speculating that Dodge will soon be debuting an SRT HEMI 'Cuda (possibly at Roadkill Nights). That's the good news. The bad news is that it may be based on the current Charger body! If this is true, it's just a sales gimmick.

That guy talks a long time to say something that could be said in 15 seconds. :banghead:
Guess I’m getting impatient in my old age…

I have seen some packages of the Charger that do not look bad but not bad enough to buy one whatever engine it is. It's too big and heavy. I hope they sell great....

They will need to do a real make over in order to resemble a 70 , 71 cuda.

How's this , take a shell of a 70 cuda and put it on the frame of a charger.

Good idea, but it wouldn't work. The Charger frame is much larger than that of a 1970 'Cuda. Look at these dimensions:

    1970 Cuda

    Length- 186.6 inches
    Width- 74.9 inches
    Height- 50.9 inches
    Front Track- 59.7 inches
    Rear Track- 61.6 inches

    2026 Charger

Length- 206.6 inches (20 inches longer)
Width- 79.8 inches (4.9 inches wider)
Height- 58.9 inches (5.3 inches taller)
Front Track- 68.7 inches (9 inches wider)
Rear Track- 69.1 inches (7.5 inches wider)

They could do it with their CAD Engineering software everything would have to be larger.

I highly doubt that it would ever happen though.
