    I'm lost!
I want to modify my my exhaust. I want that throaty rumble sound. After viewing the cut away of the resonator posted on this site, I want to remove it.
Do I need to buy A complete exhaust system or can I remove the resonator and then Install A different muffler ?
I definitely need good sound advice.
    Thank you in advance.

I got the Blastin bob reso deletes on my 392.
You use their dimensions and cut off the pipes and resonators and put their pipes on with clamps. You remove your existing tips and the ball clamp that holds them and use on their new pipes. No welding required.
Basically everything ends up in the same place except no resonators. Just look up on the their web site and find what you driving.
They also sell reso deletes with glass packs.
Some guys don't like these because of drone at about 2,000 rpm but I'm fine with them.
There are a lot of videos on Youtube including one of installation. Good luck with your choice.
Also, I did this in my garage on a set of ramps with a pipe cutter borrowed from autozone and I'm close to 70 years old.
