What's everyone's time???? Mine is 6:30 but that's because I can't find a good level lonely street to try this on. The one I keep going on is slightly uphill.
I am going to try it once I get my R/T back. It has about 780 miles on it and I think the engine should be broken in pretty well by now. I have been driving it at all speeds with short bursts on the freeway & must be careful of the radar from cars coming the other way. As soon as I get my time I will post it. Bert
There is definitely a lot of wheel spin. I thought the "Sport" button was supposed to help with that but I tried it and I didn't see a difference.
What is the best way to do it with the automatics with sport mode ? stay in auto or shift it ? I heard that the autostick left in automatic is faster than a 6 speed manual , is that because the computer is doing the shifting & if you put it in sport mode but left it in automatic how would the results be different than auto stick shifting in sport mode ?
I left it in auto and used the Sport button. I found a smooth back road and got 6.0 the first time and 5.95 the second time. I look forward to hearing suggestions also.
2010 RT - I have gotten 4.78 on a rough asphalt road, so I guess it got good traction, but I erased it by accident but I have a 5.25 saved on there now, getting my headers, midpipes no cats, magnaflow X pipe and magnaflow mufflers on next Tuesday, so I will definitely try again.
