This 1970 HEMI Challenger R/T is heading to the GAA Classic Cars auction this month.

The car has been treated to a frame-off restoration and finished in factory Plum Crazy Purple, topped with a white vinyl roof and shaker hood. Inside, the cabin is dressed in salt-and-pepper houndstooth, a hallmark of the SE trim, and even retains an AM 8-track radio for an authentic early-1970s feel.

According to the listing, the Challenger retains its original VIN, body numbers, and fender tag, confirming its identity as a Factory R/T SE R-code Hemi car. GAA does note some honesty points worth knowing: the car carries a non-conforming VIN and some incorrect fasteners, details that serious bidders will want to weigh as they evaluate the restoration.
