2012 challenger over heating

    What causes he car to over heat after you change the thermostat and engine coolant temperature sensor.

    Probably air lock, after I did my t-stat, ran car till it reached 185 then shut it down to cool, did this twice after each time level in tank went down. I marked the tank before I started to make sure the air lock was gone. it took a short drive on the highway to get the last bit of air out of the system. Also don't for get to change the fan settings with your programmer.

    might want to look into putting in a 180 degree thermostat also. what I have in mine.
