Hey guys have had this issue since I bought the car. The front is too low by about 2 inches, when I park the car in a lot it rides over the tire stop. But as I leave the skid plate and the front ground fin get caught and rips out the push pins and thoughts?????

Is your profile photo the car in question? Looks higher than my '12.

Also - Doc, it hurts when I do this. Don't pass over the stops.

I have ripped my front end like this three times now due to a momentary lapse (never again), not to mention crunching the bottom of my car going over speed bumps at just the wrong speed. And scraped it on certain driveways. I lowered my car and wish I had simply installed used SRT springs on my 2009 RT. I used Eibach - too low ($2000), bought other springs - by accident ($800), and changed them back because THEY were even LOWER ($400). I now have coil overs that I don't like and paid about $2000 for. I tried to get used to a lowered car but it's not for me - just used SRT springs - that's enough for me.

Many companies don't give accurate measurements for lowering or ride height - plus it will go lower after break in. I will go back to a more standard suspension with SRT springs eventually. This is my suggestion. What a nightmare. Yes, I have learned a lot and that a lot of people on these forums either don't know what they're talking about or have different "standards." Yes, there are some who know EXACTLY what they're talking about - try to find them. Fortunately the lowering issues and mistakes I've made were the only bad ones - turning off MDS and getting it dyno tuned (and an 85mm throttle body and air intake) were the best! 40 rwhp and 65 rwtq added. I'm not a "bling" guy - if it doesn't add performance I don't go there. OK, other than some hockey stick stripes and the metal pedals. Once the suspensions fixed - supercharger to about 475 rwhp. Guess i got off on a tangent...

So do you still have the coil overs installed or the older SRT springs in now?

No, but the springs are set at max stiffness now as coilovers wear out too.

Is it a hassle or to costly to switch them out to the older SRT springs?
