SRTForums has just posted this news:

"If you’re one of the lucky 3,300 folks who have an order on a 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, you should start to get excited right about now.

Fiat Chrysler has announced some of the first Dodge Challenger SRT Demons to be built have left its assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario and are on their way to dealers. We sort of already knew this after images surfaced of three Demons that had caught fire on a truck whilst being delivered to their owners, but today we received official confirmation from FCA that it’s begun shipping the Demon out en masse.

Along with that announcement came some additional details about the optional extras offered with the Demon. You probably already knew about the $1 Demon crate and $1 seat delete options, but the automaker is also offering a ‘Demon Authentication Package’ for $1. Included in it is the 12 individual build sheets that tracked the progress of their specific car’s build process, along with a carbon fiber ‘Certicard’ and an archive portfolio for keeping the car’s various documents safe. There’s also a personalized car cover available for $695, which matches the exterior look of the customer’s Demon and has a name of their choice embroidered above the driver’s door. Finally, there’s the leather-bound track tech manual – a book written by Hot Rod Magazine explaining the technical parts of the Demon and also how to properly set their car up for a day at the track.

Look for the 2018 Dodge Demon to begin arriving at dealers shortly."
