I have a 2018 Challenger rt 6 speed manual. I have a 8 inch rim, I want to know will 275/40/20's in the rear will look good with the stock rim. I don't want to spend money on rims because I actually like them the black from the black top package. So does anyone have advise or pictures if you've done it. Thank you.
275/40/20' call for 9"-11' rims. My 2010 SRT came with 9" rims and 255/45/20's, and I went to 295/40/20's because I couldn't find 285/40/20's the 295/40's call for a 10"-11.5", but it gives it that Old-School look. https://tiresize.com/calculator/ See my "TRACTION" post https://www.challengerforum.com/threads/traction.3263/
You need 9 inch rims. https://www.jegs.com/i/OE-Wheels/494/9506265/10002/-1 or https://www.jegs.com/i/OE-Wheels/494/9506267/10002/-1 or https://www.jegs.com/i/OE-Wheels/494/9506268/10002/-1
Yes, that is what they CALL for, but 275/40/20's would fit on 8" as they are only 10.8 section width. My 295/40's fit on my 9" with a section width of 11.6" and look good. I do wish Jegs/OE-Wheels offered 10-11" SRT style so I could go to 305-315's I don't want to UP-BADGE my classic 2010 SRT8 to HellCat wheels.
those you have pictured are the OE SRT rims, I see a lot of guys and gas use them on their car regardless of the model of challenger or charger.
Bet OE Wheels are cast not forged like OEM: https://www.oewheelsllc.com/Dodge-Challenger-SRT-Wheel-Silver
