That CRC bottle is the stuff electricians use to coat the main power connections coming in to your house, like on the main disconnect and the meter hub. I didn’t know you could buy a small tube of it like the Permatex one the guy uses in the video. Learn something every day! One other point - sometimes using sandpaper on electrical contacts is a little too aggressive. They may have plating that is typically really thin, and the sandpaper just takes it all off. I recommend starting with a Scotch-Brite pad. See how that works, usually that’s enough to clean the contacts up nice. Just my dos centavos.
